The short version. We collect the minimum we need to run our website and deliver our services. We don't sell your personal data. Our journaling app stores your entries on your device only — we can't see them. You have rights over your data; email curious@instinctssreesa.com to use them.

1. Who we are
Instincts Sreesa Labs Private Limited (“Instincts Sreesa Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a company registered in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across:
- our website at instinctssreesa.com and its pages (the “Website”);
- our SEO & AI Search Audit, consulting, and content services (the “Services”); and
- our applications, including our journaling app (the “Apps”).
By using the Website, Services, or Apps, you agree to this Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Questions? Email curious@instinctssreesa.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact & lead forms: your name, email address, website URL, and any message you submit through our forms.
- Service clients: business and contact details, the website URL(s) you ask us to audit, communications with us, and billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full payment-card numbers).
2.2 Information collected automatically (Website)
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) for security and to operate the Website.
- Cookies: our Website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
2.3 Information from third parties
If you reach out through a third-party platform (for example, email or a social network), we receive the information you choose to share there.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Website, Services, and Apps.
- Respond to your enquiries and deliver the audits, snapshots, reports, and other services you request.
- Process payments and manage our client relationship.
- Send you service-related messages, and — only with your consent — occasional updates you can opt out of at any time.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK — GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract (to deliver Services you request); legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve our business and respond to enquiries); consent (for optional marketing and any future analytics or cookies that require it); and legal obligation.
5. How we share information
We share personal data only in these limited cases:
- Service providers (processors) that act on our behalf — for example, website and form hosting (Netlify), email (Google), and payment processing. They may use the data only to provide services to us.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and the security of our users and systems.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. The journaling app
Our journaling app is designed to keep your privacy by default:
- Your entries stay on your device. Journal entries and related content are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, collect, receive, or have any access to your entries.
- No account required for the core journaling features. The app stores your settings and preferences locally on your device.
- Device backups. If your device or operating system backs up app data (for example, iCloud or Google backup), that backup is controlled by you and your OS or cloud provider under their terms — not by us.
- Deletion. You can delete entries within the app, or remove all app data by uninstalling the app. Because we hold no copy, we cannot restore deleted entries.
If we ever introduce optional features that involve sending data to us (such as cloud sync or accounts), we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent before those features are enabled.
7. International data transfers
We are based in India and use service providers that may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
- Lead & contact form data: kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records, then deleted or anonymised.
- Client & billing records: retained as required for contractual, tax, and legal purposes.
- Journaling app entries: retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. We hold no copy.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. For the journaling app, because entries stay on your device, their security also depends on your own device protections (passcode, encryption, and backups).
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, to port it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): the right to access, correction, and erasure of your personal data, the right to grievance redressal, and the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights.
- California (CCPA / CPRA): the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share as those terms are defined). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, email curious@instinctssreesa.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Grievance officer (India)
If you have any concern or complaint about how we handle your personal data, you can contact our grievance officer:
Grievance Officer
Instincts Sreesa Labs Private Limited
Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India
Email: curious@instinctssreesa.com
We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required by applicable law.
12. Children's privacy
Our Website and Services are intended for businesses and adults. Our journaling app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
Our Website and Apps may link to third-party sites and services (for example, Deuma at deuma.ai, our hosting provider, and the app stores). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will take additional steps where required by law.
